XII International Congress 2021: Resignification of Criminal Policy in a Restorative Key

The Criminal Policy Research Center of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, in collaboration with the Latin American Institute for Crime Prevention and Justice - Ilanud- (UN) - and the International Committee of the Colombian Red Cross -CICR-, are pleased to invite you to this International Congress.

The event will be attended by experts from different national and international universities and international organizations who will share their knowledge on human dignity, alternatives as a dignifying option to the criminal response, restorative justice, own justice, among other topics, in order to build proposals to make criminal policy more humane, minimal and restorative.

The morning session (8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) will be transmitted via Zoom. Register here

The afternoon session (from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) will be held in the Auditorium 2 of Building H of the Universidad Externado de Colombia and will also be transmitted via Zoom in the above-mentioned link.

Lectures and discussions will be presented in the following panels:

2. From a restorative society to restorative justice.
3. Beyond punishment: towards a diversity of justice.
4. Towards a new social responsibility in a human rights perspective.
