Are you familiar with the Legal Data Banks?

The Library has now available, for the Externadista community, the Legal Data Banks, a resource developed by the Law Faculty Computer and New Technologies Law Department.

Legal Data Banks are compilations of data specializing in different areas of the Law and include legal problems, theses, and complete texts of the rulings and legislative concordances. It is the most comprehensive digital legal Bank in Colombia in the following areas:

–        Government Contracting

–        Criminal Law

–        Labor Law and Social Security

–        Children and Family Law

–        Insurance Law

–        Private Law

–        Tax Law

–        Negotiable Instrument And Customs Law

–        Environmental Law,  Popular and Group Actions.

To assist the Externadista community, the Library now has a consultation service, upon advance request. The search is performed by subject, title, judge, legal source, and sections, among other options. Documents can be downloaded, copied, and printed. The University also offers annual subscriptions for online referencing.
